People development can be achieved effectively and cost efficiently with Managed Mentoring. This is a deliberate transfer of existing experience, mindset, skills and knowledge within a company linked to organisational goals. Successfully implemented, it leads to the strengthening of learning and people values in an organisation’s culture. Mentoring schemes have been established by world-class companies such as Intel, Microsoft and Standard Chartered Bank all of whom credit them as a major reason for improved people performance.

Yet setting up a mentoring process requires a systematic approach that includes the determination of outcomes, resources, procedures, training and tracking of results.
