Assistant Accounting Officer (3-month contract)

  • Prepare month end closing journal vouchers
  • Prepare bank reconciliation, financial statement and management reports
  • Maintain balance sheet schedules and fixed assets register
  • Maintain SUN Systems account codes and other system maintenance tasks
  • Take up as hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor


  • Degree holder in Accounting or equivalent
  • With at least 3 years’ relevant working experience in accounting. NGO experience is preferable but not essential
  • Hands-on experience in using Excel. Familiar with the application of SUN Systems and PMQA are added advantages
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Basic Putonghua is preferred
  • Proficient in computer applications including MS Office and Chinese word processing
  • Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is highly desirable
