Key Workshop Highlights

Mr. Teddy Liu

Mr. Liu is the Founder and CEO of MentorsHub, a visionary social venture platform dedicated to developing a sustainable and scalable mentorship program. This initiative aims to support talented young individuals, preparing them to contribute effectively to society upon graduating from universities and colleges.

Prior to establishing MentorsHub, Mr. Liu spent over 31 years with one of the largest listed property development group in Hong Kong. During his tenure, he oversaw various corporate functions, including internal audit, with a focus on corporate governance, risk management, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. In management services, he led the group’s innovation initiatives by emphasizing culture as a key driver and implementing structured innovation processes that engaged stakeholders both within and outside the group. He also managed corporate strategy, management systems, process improvement, business and operational reviews and talent development.

Mr. Liu is a business veteran with extensive experience in accounting and finance, company secretarial services, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganization, business and change management, internal audit and risk management, talent development, and corporate training. He played a key role in establishing the group’s corporate university, developing comprehensive training curricula to support the growth of the group’s talent.

From 2010 to 2019, Mr. Liu had been in charge of talent development for the group, spearheading numerous change management projects, including company reorganizations, business downsizing, and mergers and acquisitions. These projects often involved cultural conflicts and human resources issues, requiring skilful resolution to ensure smooth and sustainable business operations. Since 2022, Mr. Liu has also served as a part-time lecturer for a MSc HRM course at HK PolyU.

Mr. Liu is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of several professional bodies in accounting, company secretarial practice, and taxation. He was re-elected as a Council Member for the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants for another two-year term from 2023 to 2025. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and an MBA degree from The University of Hong Kong. Currently, Mr. Liu is an Adjunct Professor at CityU Academy of Innovation and a part-time lecturer at HK PolyU. With his broad knowledge and experience, Mr. Liu is a frequent guest speaker at educational institutions and organizations.
