Meeting with the Labour and Welfare Bureau and Shenzhen Human Resources and Social Security Bureau

On 23 April 2024, Mr Benjamin Wong, Co-chairperson of the China and International HRM Committee, along with representatives from the Institute, visited the Hong Kong Talent Engage office to meet with the Mr HO Kai-ming, JP, Under Secretary for Labour and Welfare and representatives from Shenzhen Human Resources and Social Security Bureau to discuss on enhancing collaborations in the human resources service sector between Hong Kong and Shenzhen. 

The 2nd National Conference on the Development of Human Resources Services

President Lawrence Hung, Vice Presidents and representatives of the Institute joined the HKSAR delegation led by Mr Chirs Sun, Secretary for Labour and Welfare to attend the 2nd National Conference on the Development of Human Resources Services on 22 November 2023. Apart from attending the opening ceremony, representatives of the Institute also had discussions and exchanges with the HR professionals from the Mainland at the HKSAR exhibition area, aiming to enhance mutual understanding and promote the Institute among Mainland enterprises. 

 

In the afternoon, Andy Luk, Vice President and Benjamin Wong, Co-chairperson of China and International HRM Committee, joined Mr Chris Sun and Ms May Chan, Commissioner for Labour, met with officials of the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Dongguan to discuss the development trends, policy measures, and collaborations in the human resources service sector in the Greater Bay Area.

 

Representing the Institute, Benjamin Wong signed the CIIC Talent Enclave Cooperation Agreement with representatives from various provinces and cities.

Human Resources and Social Security Department of Guangdong Province and Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality met with Theresa Lui, Vice-President of the Institute and Co-chairperson of China and International HRM Committee and Benjamin Wong, Co-chairperson of China and International HRM Committee in October 2023 to exchange views on human resource management and talent policies between Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.

CPC Xuhui District Committee visits HKIHRM

CPC Xuhui District Committee and CIIC met with Benjamin Wong, Co-chairperson of China and International HRM Committee and Kandy Lui, Executive Director of the Institute in December 2023 to exchange views on human resource management and talent policies between Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.  Representing the Institute, Benjamin Wong signed the CIIC Talent Enclave Cooperation Agreement with representative from China International Intellectech Co., Ltd.

MOU Signing Ceremony between HKIHRM and CIIC

The Institute and CIIC signed a MOU on 19 October 2023 to jointly advance and innovate in the field of human resources management, with a focus on collaboration in education, trainings, researches, communications and services, aiming to enhance professional standards and practices in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
