Membership Renewal and Upgrade

Membership Renewal +

 

Membership Renewal:

  1. HKIHRM will notify members to renew their membership via mail and email every year in March. Members can settle renewal fee by different payment methods marked in the invoice. E-vouchers will be provided if the renewal fee is settled before the early bird period. (Read Membership Renewal Fee below for more details)
  2. Membership fee is charged for members joining between 1 April and 31 March for one year or two years subscription. (and subject to meeting mandatory CPD requirement for Professional-route-based Membership)
  3. Entrance and annual subscription fees are subject to review by the Institute without prior notice.
  4. Those aged 60 or above AND on permanent retirement may notify HKIHRM by email to enjoy 50% discount on the membership fee.
  5. Members can apply for membership reinstatement after their membership has been suspended since the introduction of new membership scheme on 1 April 2010, which may involve:
    • paying a reinstatement fee (all the outstanding annual membership fee since his / her suspension); and
    • providing CPD records for the year(s) showing you have met the CPD requirement since you have ceased to be a member (if applicable)
  6. The HKIHRM reserves the final right to handle applications at its discretion and has the final authority over each application. Membership fee is non-cancellable and non-refundable.


Membership Renewal Fee:


During the early bird discount period (before 31 May 2024), members will receive e-vouchers if they settle the membership renewal fee successfully before the early bird discount period.


#Corporate Membership E-vouchers: $100 x 9 = $900 (One Year Subscription) ; $100 x 18 = $1,800 (Two Years Subscription);
^Individual Membership E-vouchers: $100 x 2 = $200 (One Year Subscription) ; $100 x 4 = $400 (Two Years Subscription)

Please send the payment record to Member Services Team via email membership@hkihrm.org in order to complete the renewal process. 

  1. E-banking: Search "Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management Ltd" under "Professional Institution", choose bill type "01", enter "e-Bill Account No.".
  2. Bank Transfer (ATM/Counter Service):

  1. Cheque: A crossed cheque payable to "Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management Ltd" (in full, NOT "HKIHRM") Post-dated cheques and foreign cheques will not be accepted. Please write down your membership no. and contact no. on the back of the cheque.
  2. Credit Card: If you wish to use a credit card to settle the payment, please contact us by phone or email. An email together with the payment link will then be sent to you from "The Global Payment Platform" (third-party service provider). To make the payment, simply click on the provided link in the email and enter your credit card information. For detailed instructions, please click to access "User Guide".

Membership Upgrade +

Membership Upgrade:

  1. Member must have a valid membership and meet the upgrade requirements in order to apply for a membership upgrade. For assistance with the application process, please contact Member Services Team.
  2. The upgraded membership fee is charged for members joining between 1 April and 31 March for one year or two years subscription (Same as selected membership renewal period). 
  3. Entrance and annual subscription fees are subject to review by the Institute without prior notice.
  4. Those aged 60 or above AND on permanent retirement may notify HKIHRM by email to enjoy 50% discount on the membership fee. 
  5. The HKIHRM reserves the final right to handle applications at its discretion and has the final authority over each application. Membership fee is non-cancellable and non-refundable.
